Early on she just watched the hanging toys and eventually she began to reach for the toys. Then she tried to roll over to reach the animal toys we hung on the side. Then she discovered the elephant which has an extendable strap that stretches when pulled and then slowly bounces back into play. This helped her develop her reflex to let go. Then on her tummy she discovered the flashing lights and constantly tried to grab the lights in the flowers as they bounced around. And, I’ll never forget the look on her face when she discovered her image in the mirror. As she began to sit up and crawl she learned how to turn the music on and off by herself and even in a sitting position she stilled love grabbing for the animals.
I love how easy this mat is to fold up and travel with and I took it with me on every overnight outing we went on. When it gets dirty you can just throw it in the wash. Overall, this is a great baby play mat and I highly recommend it!
