Reviews for the Huggies Supreme Little Movers diaper in Jean are mixed.  Many users love the Jean print saying the diaper is super cute and is a great diaper for summer when baby goes about without clothes.  Others say the Jean diaper is just as absorbent as the regular Little Movers and it’s too bad they are only limited edition.

My Two Cents

I decided to try the Huggies Snug and Dry diapers and have recently found myself using them quite regularly. I think they work great and must disagree with users who feel these diapers are not soft or are too stiff. I think they have a great amount of flexibility and feel soft enough for a disposable diaper—but of course are they are not as soft as the Huggies Pure and Natural disposable diapers, Pampers Swaddlers diapers or a cloth diaper. As for leaks: I have had a few instances where the diaper has leaked, but as with most brands of diapers that has leaked on me, it was my fault. I neglected to change the diaper often enough (I am talking about over 5 hours without changing the diaper on a pre-tot), the diaper then became saturated with urine, and then my daughter had a bowl movement. The diaper was already too full and was unable to contain another pee or the bowel movement. In general, the diaper has worked very well, and as long as I change my daughter’s diaper on a regular schedule, these diapers work great.—and this is true with all diapers.  If you don’t change a diaper and it becomes saturated, it will leak!

I would recommend Huggies Snug and Dry and will definitely buy these diapers again.

There aren’t too many negative reviews for the Huggies Pure and Natural diaper.  Some reviewers complain that the diaper leaks (but others say it never leaks so??) and others are disappointed that the diaper is not as eco-friendly as Seventh Generation diapers and that the diaper is not chlorine free.  One woman, who still gave the diaper a very good review and rating, said she called Kimberly-Clarke (the manufacturers of Huggies diapers) to find out more about the materials used in the Huggies Pure and Natural diaper.  She says the organic cotton is used only in the outer shell of the diaper and does not actually touch your baby’s skin.  However, the inner liner is made from corn-based plastics and does not contain perfume.  But, it still contains many of the ingredients found in other Huggies (and other disposable) diapers such as polyethylene, polyester blend, virgin wood fibers and polyacrylate (which is what makes a diaper absorbent).

In summary, while the Huggies Pure and Natural is not as pure and natural as a cloth diaper or as Seventh Generation disposable diapers, it is a vast improvement over other disposable diapers on the market today.  Give this diaper a try if you are feeling guilty about diapering your baby with disposable diapers but don’t want to switch to cloth diapers.

I love the Huggies Pure and Natural diaper.  I think the fit is great, it never leaks for me, and it is very absorbent.  The diaper feels really soft and is super easy to put on.  The Velcro tabs really are stretchy and strong.  This diaper may not be as eco-friendly as some of the other varieties on the market, but it is less toxic than other disposable diapers and can be a great option for parents looking for a safer diaper for their baby.  The Huggies Pure and Natural diaper is also a great choice for any parent just looking for an absorbent and soft disposable diaper for everyday use.  Worth a buy!

The Pampers Baby Dry diaper is a great diaper.  I was skeptical when I first purchased this diaper because it was so thin I was sure it would leak.  But, after finishing a whole pack now I can honestly say I did not have to deal with one leak.  The Pampers Baby Dry diapers are very absorbent diapers, are comfortable, and are nice and thin so they fit very well under clothing.  And my daughter loved the Elmo character on the diaper’s band!  I have no complaints about these diapers!

However, remember that every baby is different and will not respond to each diaper the same as another baby.  It’s always worth trying any diaper to see how your baby responds and only then decide if it is the right diaper for you.  So definitely give the Pampers Baby-Dry diapers a try and find out how they work for your baby.

When reading the reviews when the Dry Max Technology was first introduced I have to admit I was a bit nervous about these diapers due to the many unhappy users who wrote about their hatred for Dry Max and about how they wished Pampers would bring back the old Cruiser diaper.  However, a year down the road the review boards for this diaper have totally changed.  While the initial negative reviews are still posted, these users have become the minority as hundreds and hundreds of positive reviews have since been posted all singing the praises of the Pampers Cruisers diaper.  It took some time but the Pampers Cruisers has proved its worth and has gained a very happy and steady parent following.  Worth a buy!

I think it is always worth giving a diaper a try to see how your baby responds.  Just buy a small package of the diaper and test it out.  If the diaper doesn’t work out for you then just switch varieties or brands.  This is the only real way to test the quality of a baby’s diaper.

This woman’s advice is good for any diaper.  Every baby is different and will respond to each diaper differently.  The only way to truly know how your baby will react to a diaper is to try it out.  Also, no matter how advanced the diaper technology for absorption, you should not neglect to change your baby’s diaper.  Sitting in a wet diaper is the number one cause of diaper rash.  Changing your baby’s diaper every time he/she eats is sound advice.  Give the diapers a try and see how your baby responds to them.  This is really the only way to find the right diaper for you and your baby.

My Two Cents

I came across a great sale on Seventh Generation diapers one day and decided to give them a try. Not following my own advice about buying a small pack of new diapers to try before buying in bulk quanity, I bought two large cases of the size 3 diaper which is suppose to fit babies weighing between 16-28 lbs. My daughter at the time weighed 21 lbs. Unfortunately, the reviewers who report that the Seventh Generation diapers run small are correct. While the size 3 diapers did fit my daughter, it was a tight fit and the diaper tabs are not very flexible, which did not help when it came time to get these diapers on my daughter. Based on this experience I do definitely recommend that you buy one size up when purchasing Seventh Generation diapers, and start off buying a small pack until you are sure of the correct size diaper for your baby.

Except for the size issue, I am overall very pleased with the Seventh Generation diapers. They work just as well as any other disposable diaper on the market and are as easy to put on and take off as Huggies or Pampers diapers (but made without any chemicals). These diapers are not as stretchy, and maybe not as soft as Pampers and Huggies disposable diapers, but my daughter seems perfectly comfortable in them. The absorbency level of Seventh Generation diapers is also comparable to any other disposable diaper on the market and I find they only leak if they had already reached their wetness capacity and then my daughter had a bowel movement. But, these few leaks are not the diaper’s fault. I, unfortunately, did not change my daughter’s diaper frequently enough these times–the same blowout would have happened with any brand diaper had it been so full.

Overall, I think Seventh Generation disposable diapers are fantastic diapers and if you are looking for an easy to use, environmentally friendly diaper but you don’t want to deal with cloth diapers, then Seventh Generation is the perfect diaper for you. Get the environmental seal of approval without all the fuss of cloth diapers.
