I was given both sleep sacks and swaddle blankets at my baby shower. I tended to use the swaddle blankets more frequently than the sleep sacks just because my daughter often woke herself up flailing her arms about. Swaddle blankets contain the arms where sleeps sacks do not. However, when my daughter got older and no longer wanted to be swaddled I switched to the sleep sacks and they have been great. No complaints. I also love using them as stroller blankets when taking a walk on a cold winter’s day. My daughter always kicks her regular stroller blanket off herself causing the blanket to fall to the ground and the stroller to run over it.
